To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and energized Finance & Investments Associate who will support in the structuring of our investment cases (self-developed and project M&A) and structuring of financings for BESS projects in Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Spain. 

Your Profile:

• Completed Master'S Degree

• You have 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in an infrastructure / clean energy funds, bank or project developer. 
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial modelling, deal structuring and (project) finance for the level required for Associate / Analyst and strong business acumen
• Personality: analytical and entrepreneurial with an ‘equity mindset’. Alongside professionalism, you bring the right amount of drive and spark: energetic, hands-on and confident in making decisions, while also contributing to an enjoyable team atmosphere.
• 40 hours available per week
• Fluency in English. Fluency in German is a strong plus. 

Your Main Tasks:

• Central role based in Amsterdam. Candidates based in Hamburg/Munich/Düsseldorf are also invited to apply, with travelling to Amsterdam to be discussed. 
• Financial modelling of investment cases (project IRR) and optimization of capital structuring (Equity IRR) through support in financing arrangements 
• Support on deal structuring of self-developed and third-party developed (project M&A) BESS assets and related project financings.
• Support on coordination of DD processes for investment decisions and bankability for external funding
• Prepare supportive materials for investment decisions (FID) and financing commitments (FC)
