Your New Role...

Are you ready to step into the spotlight and be part of the magic behind the scenes? We’re looking for a Consumables & LED Assistant to join our world-class Set Lighting team, supporting the day-to-day operations of our LED and Consumables department. This is your chance to work at the heart of one of the most creative environments in the industry, where innovation meets artistry, and every detail contributes to the storytelling power of film and television.

You’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of our LED and consumables inventory, assisting with the preparation, distribution, and tracking of lighting equipment and materials. Working closely with technicians, you’ll help ensure everything is in place for shoots to run seamlessly. Your contribution will also include maintaining a well-organised and efficient workspace that keeps productions moving at pace.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Assisting with pulling work orders for our sales team to ensure all jobs are picked and delivered within the allotted time frame.
  • Testing and cleaning equipment/lights, recording any defects or damages.
  • Assisting with pulling consumables jobs.
  • Updating LED fixtures and equipment, keeping up to date with the latest firmware/software
  • Maintain a tidy and organised workplace, along with any ad hoc work in the warehouse.
  • Working to set deadlines to clear jobs on time once production has finished.
  • Report any discrepancies or missing items to supervisors.
  • Maintain stock levels of consumables and replenish as necessary

Qualifications & Experiences...

  • Previous experience with Film and Television lighting equipment is advantageous.
  • Experience with manual handling and loading vehicles.

Business Overview

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden (WBSL) is a world-class film and TV studio offering one of the largest facilities in the UK. The purpose-built studio site is home to 20 sound stages, production offices, workshops, an indoor water tank, and an extensive, clear-horizon backlot.

WBSL includes the on-site production rentals business, Warner Bros. Set Lighting & Rigging, which provides the industry with state-of-the-art lighting equipment, scaffolding, and production supplies for stage and location shoots worldwide. In addition, Warner Bros. De Lane Lea, based in London, provides picture and sound post-production services for film and TV, and has a dedicated Dailies department on the lot at WBSL.

Warner Bros. Leavesden Park, adjacent to the Studio, offers modern and flexible office space for productions and is home to The WonderWorks, a bespoke childcare facility available to those working on site.

With a range of services including an on-site gym, café, and wellbeing room, WBSL provides the perfect home for productions and has become the studio of choice for many filmmakers worldwide.

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
