Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated Principal Specialist Inventory Management join our Inventory Management team at the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy and compliance of inventory processes and supports both Government Furnished Material (GFM) and company-owned inventory. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with teams including Production Control, Warehouse Operations, Quality, Planning, Shipping/Receiving and Program Management.
What You Will Do
- Manage comprehensive inventory control operations, including inventory accountability, induction, in-place shipments, and reconciliation, ensuring accurate inventory records and balances within SAP
- Lead and monitor key logistics-specific processes such as cycle counting, shelf-life recertification, GFM quotation workflow, records management and contract transfers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and operational efficiency
- Resolve material discrepancies and troubleshoot system transaction errors in SAP ERP (PRISM) and other systems, implementing corrective actions to maintain data integrity and process accuracy
- Support internal and external audits and ensure ongoing compliance with government property and logistics requirements
- Develop and deliver customized inventory reports and system health metrics for internal and external stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making and operational visibility.
- Coach team members and enforce process discipline to promote standardization and compliance
- Identify and lead cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and related functions, driving alignment with best practices and operational objectives
- Foster strong relationships and effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and fulfillment of commitments
- Operate with minimal supervision in a reliable, dependable and accurate manner
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Industry experience in logistics, manufacturing or related field
- Professional experienced analyzing inventory data
- Experience with ERPs
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in supply chain analytics or Computer Science
- Experience with Kinaxis Rapid Response, data visualization (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience using SAP ERP (PRISM/APEX/SQVI)
- Expanded knowledge of FAR, DFAR and related regulations as they apply

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
