Are you ready to shape the future of modern workplace technology? We’re looking for a visionary Domain Architect to lead the design and evolution of our cloud-native endpoint management landscape, with a strong focus on security, user experience, and scalability.
As Domain Architect, you will define and drive the strategic architecture for endpoint management across our global organization. You’ll work at the intersection of Windows, Windows 365, macOS, and cloud-native technologies, ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable device experiences for our workforce. You’ll also own the architecture of our printing services, ensuring they are integrated, secure, and future-proof.
The Team
Within People and Hubs Enterprise Architecture we are looking for a new Workplace Services Architect to cover domain architecture for the Area Endpoint Management. This comprehends Windows and Mac endpoints, Windows 365 as our Virtual platform, printing services and security. The Workplace Services architects form part of the Workplace Services and Collaboration architecture chapter. The team is based in Amsterdam and works to further develop ING’s global services.
Roles And Responsibilities
Your Scope Includes
- • Cloud-native endpoint architecture for Windows, Windows 365 Cloud PCs and MacOS devices.
- • Security by design: embedding zero trust principles, compliance, and threat protection across all endpoints.
- • Printing services: designing secure, scalable, and user-friendly printing solutions across platforms.
- • Collaboration with engineering, security, and workplace teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- • Technology roadmap ownership: aligning with enterprise architecture and innovation strategies.
Architecture Responsibilities
Strategic & Standards Development
- • Deliver architecture roadmaps to guide long-term planning
- • Create reference architectures that support consistency and scalability
- • Contribute to or construct global standards for workplace services
- • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends, translating them into implications for the organization
Design & Solutioning
- • Translate policies and/or requirements into actionable solutions
- • Create high-level architecture designs, highlighting options, recommendations, and implications
- • Develop detailed solution processes and approaches to guide implementation teams
Collaboration & Governance
- • Manage stakeholders across multiple departments and countries
- • Work independently under limited guidance, with a strong drive to collaborate with other stakeholders
- • Participate and/or present in architecture governance forums as required
Execution & Planning
- • Manage your own features in the architecture team backlog, ensuring completeness of descriptions, updates, and committed start and end dates aligned with the Workplace Services team
- • Actively participate in broader quarterly planning and commitment sessions with the Workplace Services team

- • At least 5 years of proven experience in endpoint management architecture, ideally in enterprise environments.
- • Deep knowledge of Windows 365, Intune, macOS management (Jamf), and cloud-native security frameworks.
- • Experience with printing infrastructure and its integration in modern workplace setups.
- • Have experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., financial institutions).
- • Ability to develop strong and collaborative partnerships with organizational leaders.
- • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field / equivalent work experience.
- • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- • A strategic mindset with hands-on technical depth.
- • Knowledge of and experience with IT architecture methodologies, processes (e.g. TOGAF and ArchiMate), service management processes and an agile work environment.
