As a HR Business Partner for Southern Europe/UK/Nordics you will work closely with all Leaders and managers in these Countries, together with your team of HR Advisors. In This Role

As an HR Business Partner, you will be in position to support with your team the Leadership and management of for all IDEXX lines of Business, comprising of our Client facing organizations, the Laboratories, software engineering, and our Manufacturing facilities. This position will report to the International Human Resources Director and manage a team of four Human Resources Advisors in France, UK, Spain and Italy.

The focus for this role will be to truly partner with the business in the field of executing our talent strategy and provide guidance on how to implement IDEXX projects in compliance with local labor law.

Key to success is creating a real partnership with the business and with the different HR stakeholders to maximize the support to the business in strategic and tactical HR policy implications, change management, employee relations and business initiatives.

  • You will provide and direct consultative business and functional support to leaders and managers to maximize the performance of their organizations in your geography.
  • You will create meaningful relationships with your stakeholders, providing solid advice to their functions and adding real practical and long term value to their organizations.
  • You will advise and consult on matters of total rewards, team dynamics, organizational development, and design, cultural initiatives as needed and to manage IDEXX incredible growth to meet business objectives.
  • You will be the driving force of implementing HR change management and strategic HR value projects.

What you need to Succeed

The role involves regular interaction with the Country Managers and the leaders from different lines of Business, Global HRBP’s, Global HR CoE’s (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefit, Payroll and People Operations) and other relevant stakeholders such as Legal and Finance. In France you will be responsible to coordinate all communications and activities with the CSE.

To be successful in this position you will need:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or any other relevant field with top academic credentials.
  • You bring at least 10 years of relevant experience, working in HR in multinational companies and business partnering with senior business and functional leaders, ideally in multiple countries (including France).
  • You have extensive experience dealing with CSE and Workers Councils in France.
  • You are bilingual French and English languages
  • You have successfully built high value relationships with senior leaders and are comfortable leading authority through consultation, influence, and collaboration.
  • Experience in a matrixed, multinational, public company with a global setting is highly valued.
  • Grapples successfully with complexity, understands patterns in data and their implications, able to translate complex organizational issues into practical guidance for business stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational, business, and communication skills, including analytical ability, project management, and facility in both one-to-one and group contexts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams and functional understanding of HR information Systems (Workday and ADP) preferred.
  • You have emotional intelligence, humility, willingness to learn and take and receive feedback constructively.
  • You have the ability and agility to deal with changing priorities and challenges.
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of a full range of contemporary HR theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation: translating and converting HR concepts and theory into systems solutions for enhanced employee performance and business success.
  • You are located in France but willing to periodical travel to UK, as needed
  • You have the highest ethical standards and positive and constructive attitude.
