What You Will Do:

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Subject Matter Expert with over seven years of hands-on experience in DevOps, application security, or software development. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to integrate security seamlessly throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring applications and infrastructure meet the highest standards of security, scalability, and reliability. This role requires deep technical expertise, automation skills, and the ability to influence secure development and deployment practices across teams.

  • Define and implement DevSecOps best practices, embedding security into every stage of the SDLC.
  • Integrate security tools, processes, and automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Champion a “shift-left” approach to security in development and deployment workflows.
  • Deploy and manage SAST, DAST, SCA, and container scanning tools within CI/CD environments.
  • Automate security testing, compliance checks, and vulnerability management.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security scanning and remediation.
  • Design secure, automated build and deployment pipelines for multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Ensure cloud security posture management (CSPM) and compliance monitoring are integrated into operations.
  • Partner with development, QA, operations, and security teams to ensure secure code delivery.
  • Define and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship on secure coding and DevSecOps practices.
  • Monitor application and infrastructure security in real time, leveraging SIEM/SOAR integrations.
  • Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis for security-related issues.
  • Continuously assess and improve DevSecOps processes, tools, and culture.

What You Will Bring:

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Experience: 5 - 8 Years in DevOps, application security, or software development, with strong knowledge of SDLC and CI/CD processes.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Certifications (preferred): Certified DevSecOps Professional, AWS/Azure Security Specialty, CISSP, CSSLP.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Familiarity with security tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Veracode, Snyk, Aqua, or Prisma Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, and cloud security principles.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
