As Head of Quality and Risk – Seniors Communities, you’ll be the driving force behind the systems and culture that ensure our services are not just compliant, but truly exceptional. With integrity and resilience, you will:
- Lead the Quality and Compliance team, setting clear objectives, KPIs, and accountability standards.
- Develop and implement strategic quality and compliance plans aligned with clinical governance, risk management, and organisational priorities.
- Lead the implementation of quality management systems and ensure compliance with aged care and retirement village legislative requirements.
- Drive audit, accreditation, risk mitigation, and incident/complaint management processes.
- Monitor and support the management of Plans for Continuous Improvement (PCIs) across all aged care standards.
- Participate in Anglicare’s clinical and risk governance committees, representing the organisation on internal working groups and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge and skills in relevant legislation, standards, and best practice.
What You'Ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance or other relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality, risk, or compliance roles within aged care or healthcare.
- At least 5 years’ experience supervising or leading a team.
- Proven experience managing accreditation processes and clinical audits.
- Hands-on experience with complaints resolution, incident management, and improvement plans.
- High-level clinical investigation and incident analysis skills.
- Skilled in data interpretation, reporting, and clinical governance systems.
- Knowledge of aged care regulatory standards and quality frameworks.
- Experience in project management and driving change initiatives.
