SDE- Sr Site Reliability Engineer

Key Responsibilities

System Design & Automation:

Design and build scalable, highly available systems, and develop software to automate repetitive operational tasks. 

Monitoring & Performance:

Implement comprehensive monitoring (e.g., using tools like Prometheus and Grafana), analyze system performance and bottlenecks, and perform capacity planning. 

Incident Management:

Respond to live production incidents, manage emergency response, and conduct thorough root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence. 

Infrastructure Management:

Manage and optimize cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including servers, databases, and networks. 

Ci/Cd & Release Engineering:

Design and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and ensure best practices for consistent and repeatable software releases. 

Collaboration & Mentorship:

Work closely with development and other cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps best practices, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other SREs. 

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:

Document processes, procedures, and best practices to share knowledge within the team and across the organization. 

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Technical Proficiency:

Strong skills in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, Shell). 

Cloud & Infrastructure Expertise:

Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure configuration management tools. 

Monitoring Tools:

Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty).
