The Role
We’re looking for a HR Generalist to join us on a 12-month maternity leave contract! This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on growth, champions people-first thinking, and is eager to make a real impact in the healthcare technology space. You will also be supporting and coaching our HR Coordinator as you drive forward key initiatives. If you’re passionate about innovation and shaping the employee experience, we’d love to connect. Key Focus Areas
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (50%)
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for a variety of roles, from job postings through to offers and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to define needs, build talent pipelines, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
Special Projects (40%)
- Lead impactful Learning and Development initiatives that foster continuous growth, strengthen leadership capabilities, and boost employee engagement.
- Contribute to compensation projects, ensuring fairness, market competitiveness, and alignment with company goals.
- Participate in global HR initiatives to strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing across international offices.
Manager Guidance (10%)
- Providing coaching and guidance on employee relations and performance management.
Hybrid Environment:
- 3 days in-office
Travel:
- Travel 10–15% between our three Canadian offices

- Our salary range for this role falls between $93,100 and $115,700. The final salary offer will depend on several key factors, including the candidate's level of experience, their specific skill set, and the overall alignment with the job requirements. Other considerations may include the candidate’s education, certifications, and any additional relevant qualifications. We aim to offer a competitive salary that reflects the value each individual brings to our team.

Think you’ve got what it takes? Great. Here's a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:
- 5–8 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist, business partner, or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Strong background in recruitment and talent acquisition, preferably in the technology sector.
- Proven ability to provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees.
- Experience leading HR projects in learning, development, and compensation.
- Sound knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A growth mindset, adaptability, and a people-first approach to work.
Nice To Have:
- Bilingual: English and French
- CHRP or CPHR designation (or working towards it) considered an asset.
