A Bit About The Role:
Here at Youth Projects our Youth Coaches are busy on the frontlines tackling the cycle of disadvantage every day, breaking down the complex barriers to employment of young people in your community through a holistic and trauma informed model of care.
You won’t just help young people aged 15–25 find work, you’ll empower them to build lasting skills, confidence, and independence. Using a strengths-based case management approach, you’ll act as a mentor, advocate, and connector between young people and the local labour market in accordance with the Transition to Work program.
Our Youth Coaches work Monday to Friday but strongly believe this is more than just a 9-5, it’s a chance to create real, lifelong impact in the lives of those who need it in your community!
Key Requirements:
- Certificate IV (or above) in Mental Health, Youth Work, Community Services, Career Development
- Proven experience in job seeker service delivery and mentoring.
- Current Drivers License
- Strong computer skills with competency in all Microsoft Office application
