About The Position:

As a Finance Officer, you will report directly to the Manager of Finance and provide key financial and administrative support within KWY. This includes managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and general finance tasks. This role offers numerous opportunities to showcase your skills, knowledge, enthusiasm, and professionalism in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounting functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable
  • Assist in processing fortnightly payroll
  • Maintain accounting records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and other financial data
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements, along with other financial accounts monthly
  • Ad-hoc Reports to be completed by the designated deadline
  • Provide support during audits and year end payroll.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

About You:

  • A diploma or higher qualification in Accounting and Finance (desirable).
  • Previous experience in accounts payable processing and/or an accounting qualification.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in both literacy and numeracy.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, initiative, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Experience with accounting software’s e.g. Xero (essential).
  • Possess a sound understanding of accounting for GST, Workcover, Superannuation, and leave entitlements (desirable).
  • A solid understanding of Superannuation and leave entitlements (desirable).

  • Competitive salary: This position will be initially at a Level 3.1 SCHADS Award, with a pay rate of $76,372 pa.

Job Requirements:

  • You must hold a current South Australian Driver's License or a license which permits you to drive in South Australia.
  • Successful candidates will be required to clear and maintain probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check (Police Clearance), Working with Vulnerable People Check and Working with Children Check (applicants need to hold a current WWCC to apply).
