Why This Role is Right for You
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in leading transformation initiatives within the Operations Transformation team regarding Architecture, Migrations and Platforms. Your focus will be in designing and managing complex projects in both Operations and IT even in critical or change-resistant contexts, leading extended workgroups, fostering alignment on concrete solutions, even in high-pressure environments with diverse counterparts.

- Manage complex IT, Business Units, Commercial, Operations projects with high impacts into Operations
- Lead structured workgroups, finding concrete solutions and fostering alignment
- Drive initiatives, ensuring alignment with Nexi’s strategic goals.
- Ensure all initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and success metrics

- Essential Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Operations, with deep knowledge of operational processes (e.g.: onboarding, customer care, field management …) , systems, and KPIs, enabling a functional and integrated perspective in platform transformation projects.
- Proven track record in complex IT projects, including direct involvement in high-impact technological initiatives such as design and project execution, software selection processes, and complex migrations, also across distributed and highly interdependent architectures.
- Knowledge of core Operations platforms, with established expertise in CTI, contact management systems, CRM Service, workflow, dispatching, and trouble ticketing systems. Experience with technologies such as Genesys, Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc. is preferred.
- End-to-end architecture comprehension and design, with the ability to understand technical architectures and map business/functional architectures through an understanding of macro-processes and supporting digital solutions.
- Content-driven Project/Program Management, with autonomy in managing multidisciplinary projects and workstreams, from requirements gathering to impact analysis/cost budgeting/business cases, including identification of interdependencies. Preparation of project documentation (e.g.: process design, operating model, detailed analysis, requirements, training materials, functional building blocks …) and executive-level documentation
- Execution and migration management, with direct experience in coordinating and delivering technological implementation and migration projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both operational users and IT application owners, as well as external stakeholders (e.g., partners, vendors, or Banks).
- Language skills: Italian native speaker, with fluent command of English.
- Experience: 3-5 years in similar roles or positions with comparable responsibilities and scope.

- Emotional intelligence – Ability to manage interpersonal relationships with empathy and awareness, especially in complex or high-pressure environments.
- Conflict Resolution Skills – Capability to mediate and resolve conflicts between team members or stakeholders constructively.
- Change management – Familiarity with tools and methodologies to support people and organizations through transformation initiatives.
- Storytelling and presentation – Capability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively through presentations and written materials.
