Linea Aqua operates across Sri Lanka and Vietnam, and in addition to swimwear, also offers activewear solutions to select customers, providing a comprehensive service across performance and lifestyle categories. Along with servicing its joint venture partner, Speedo, the company also services premier international brands such as In Private, Aerie, and Land’s End, and is the go-to manufacturer for high-performance swimwear worn by Olympic athletes.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to monitor and maintain all quality functions of assigned modules in order to ensure all the processes and product are in the accepted standards complying with customer requirement by fulfilling the company mission and objective.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to pre-production meetings, identify and confirm quality requirements / systems / standards / technical specifications, instruct quality supervisors / in-line auditors and ensure strict adherence in order to meet customer requirements.
• Setting up of acceptable quality standards and tolerances on product quality, in order to meet customer requirements in the most effective manner.
• Monitor the product quality assurance & control processes / control indicators, communicate with merchandising, lab, cutting, sample room on issues related to product quality in order to ensure prompt resolution of all quality issues / prevent recurrence and thereby assure the consistency of standards and provide quality related information for management decision making.
• Implement, maintain and improve quality assurance / control systems, end-process systems in order to maintain conformance to required quality standards and the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes.
• Develop skills and knowledge on quality awareness of all employees in order to enhance their capabilities and thereby meet current and future challenges.
• Compile reports in an accurate and timely manner whilst forwarding same to relevant teams and members of the management thereby supporting the decision-making process.
• Monitor the preparation / update documents / sheets such as in-line inspection sheets, quality audit sheets, etc. in order to facilitate management decision making.
• Enforce teams to take product safety precautions whilst maintaining standards and educating employees of same in order to satisfy customer requirements.

Knowledge And Skills

• Degree in Textile / Clothing Technology
• Quality Certificates obtained from CITI / Recognized Institute.
• An outstanding Team Player with minimum of four years’ work experience in the similar capacity.
• Strong / effective communication skill
