The Challenge

As a Project Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth strategy. You’ll be tasked with optimizing and enhancing our plants by turning project scopes and business needs into actionable plans. Your responsibilities will encompass the timely and complete preparation, planning, execution, and closure of projects, ranging from low to high complexity and business risks. You will inspire and lead these projects with a constructive approach while embracing a spirit of innovation as you explore new methods, materials, and technologies to align with our values and mission.

Key Areas of Accountability/Responsibility

Lead simultaneous projects to on‑time, in‑full delivery in a continuous production setting.

Project Management

• Translate business needs and scopes into a project approach and execution plan.
• Define contracting strategy and ensure compliance with Envalior processes.
• Coordinate engineering assignments, outsourcing, construction and implementation.
• Ensure timely delivery and handover of projects including documentation.

Budget & Planning

• Prepare C- and B-budgets.
• Develop and monitor cost estimates, planning, cash flow, and financial status.
• Plan contracting and procurement activities.
• Evaluate bids based on price, quality, and delivery.

Team coaching & stakeholder management

• Assemble and manage diverse project teams for multiple projects simultaneously.
• Acquire general technical and specialized knowledge to drive successful projects.
• Coach and lead internal and external engineers and contractors.
• Motivate and guide teams to achieve shared goals.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and thrive for customer satisfaction.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with Envalior and legal safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Work according to Life Saving Rules.
• Ensure quality assurance and risk management throughout all project phases.
• Continuously acquire knowledge on technical developments and internal standards.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

Bring a hands‑on, can‑do mindset to deliver results through teamwork and disciplined execution.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, E&I or Chemical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in project management in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of project execution, budgeting and risk management.
• Deep understanding of plant operations, processes and manufacturing disciplines.
• Operate with structure and customer focus to meet safety and quality targets.
• Lead diverse teams to deliver outcomes fast through effective collaboration.
• Exhibits persuasive abilities and a persistent approach to challenges.
• Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is a plus.
• Knowledge of Envalior's work processes and financial reporting (SAP) is a plus.
