Oracle Senior Technical Consultant

Please note you must be able to pass security clearance for this role (NPPV 3) due to our client's requirements. To gain this level of clearance you must have been a resident living in the UK for the past 3 years.
 

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Oracle Senior Technical Consultant with a strong track record across Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and Oracle Cloud. You'll bring deep technical expertise across the full project lifecycle, including integrations, data migration, and reporting, along with hands-on experience in tools like Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOA Suite, and BI Publisher. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working closely with clients, and leading technical delivery. You’ll be joining a collaborative team where innovation, stakeholder engagement, and delivering real business value are key, and where your knowledge of OCI, CEMLIs, and cloud integration frameworks will make a real impact.

About You

• Broad understanding of key technology areas such as integration, data migration, and reporting
• Practical experience with Configurations, Customisations, Extensions, Modifications, Localisations, and Interfaces (CEMLIs)
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including the provisioning process for Integration Cloud and Database Cloud
• Familiarity with web service development and architecture (SOAP/REST)
• Experience working with Oracle applications, including R12 and Oracle Cloud, across full project lifecycles
• Understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Database Cloud components, or comparable cloud-based integration platforms
• Ongoing learning or training in Oracle technologies
• Experience contributing to or leading technical delivery for upgrades, implementations, and re-implementations
• Ability to analyse challenges and apply creative, practical problem-solving approaches
• Knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite, BPEL, Mediator, Business Rules, and Web Services 

Requirements

• Experience integrating multi-cloud and on-premise applications
• Proficiency with SaaS integration frameworks including Web Services, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, XML, XSLT, and XQUERY
• Participation in large integration projects, including involvement in design, proof of concept, and development using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Experience customising Oracle Fusion ERP Applications, both at runtime and design time using ADF
• Report development experience using BI Publisher or OTBI, and data conversion using FBDI, ADFDI, or HDL
• Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Awareness of systems integration security, user provisioning, and single sign-on technologies
• Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite R12
• Experience with Oracle ERP and HCM Cloud
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL
• Basic knowledge of UNIX commands or scripting
• Experience using Oracle JDeveloper and Oracle Workflow
