At our Manufacturing Department in Medtronic Athlone, plc, we focus on supporting Product Value streams to ensure that customer & patient needs are met every day. Our focus is on delivering and maintaining high maturity manufacturing processes and maintaining high-quality performance within our Teams. The Manufacturing Technician III is directly involved in the achievement of our mission to contribute to human welfare by manufacturing products that alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life.

A Day in The Life Of:
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Leads investigations for CAPAs, NCMRs and Customer Complaints to establish root cause of quality issues.
- Communicates typically with internal contacts and collaborates across functions to implement corrective and preventive action.
- Documents all investigations and solutions implemented, observing the site’s Quality Management System.
- Seasoned individual contributor, working under limited supervision, and providing updates to CAB board as required. Runs minor projects, including performing tests, interpreting data, developing reports.
- Expected to independently propose solutions to problems for review by cross-functional teams.
Key Skills & Experience
- Minimum requirement NFQ level 6 certification.
- Requires minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Individual should have an interest in working in a manufacturing environment with a problem-solving aptitude and should have some proven ability with computers.
- A knowledge of the CAPA, NCMR and Customer Complaints processes would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided for the successful applicant.
