Description

The Film and Media Studies Program and the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Colgate University invite applications for a one-year position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor in Film and Media Studies and Italian Language and Literature, beginning fall term 2025. Completion of the PhD in the relevant field is expected prior to or shortly after the date of hire. The teaching assignment is five courses per year, including courses in Film and Media Studies and Italian Language and Literature. Qualifications

Applicants should possess expertise in both fields and have native or near-native fluency in both Italian and English, with a record of excellence in teaching either in film and media studies or Italian.
