Appointment Setter - Insurance Benefits Specialist

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

• 40 hours/week
• Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm PST with 1 hour unpaid break

• Re-engage and reconnect with over 300 existing business clients to introduce new products and services
• Conduct 100-300 strategic outbound calls daily to established business accounts
• Schedule qualified appointments for the sales team with interested decision-makers
• Provide compelling initial information about new benefit offerings to generate interest and excitement
• Navigate business phone systems and effectively communicate with gatekeepers
• Follow proven scripts and guidelines while maintaining authentic, relationship-focused conversations
• Maintain detailed records of call outcomes, client feedback, and successful appointment scheduling
• Collaborate with sales team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified prospects

• Proven experience in appointment setting and outbound calling, preferably in B2B environments
• Strong communication skills with a professional, confident phone presence
• Demonstrated ability to handle gatekeepers and reach business decision-makers
• Resilience and persistence in managing call rejection while maintaining positive attitude
• Experience with high-volume calling (100+ calls per day) and meeting conversion targets
• Familiarity with insurance or benefits industry is a plus but not required
• Comfortable working with CRM systems and call tracking software
• Goal-oriented mindset with ability to achieve 15-30 appointments from daily call activity
