Medical Billing and Insurance Verification Specialist

This is a remote position.

• Conduct comprehensive insurance verifications to confirm patient coverage and benefits
• Process and manage prior authorizations for medical procedures and treatments
• Handle end-to-end medical billing operations, including claims processing, submission, and follow-up
• Make professional phone calls to insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and insurance information within healthcare management systems
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to resolve billing discrepancies and authorization issues
• Adhere to the client’s business hours and timezone for seamless communication and operations

• Proven experience in medical billing and insurance verification
• Strong knowledge of prior authorization procedures and healthcare insurance systems
• Excellent verbal communication skills for phone-based interactions
• Detail-oriented, with high accuracy in processing insurance and billing data
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work effectively in a remote environment
• Proficiency with healthcare management software and billing systems
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team
