This is a remote position.
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Flexible 9 hours) between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Dulwich Time, with a 1-hour unpaid lunchTotal Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Our client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper or Accountant with a strong background in NDIS Plan Management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of NDIS guidelines, the ability to process invoices, manage participant budgets, and ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Process invoices and claims through the NDIS PRODA / myplace portal
- Track and manage NDIS participant funding and budget allocations
- Liaise with service providers and participants for invoice follow-ups
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for participants and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with NDIS plan management rules and audit requirements
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Hands-on experience with NDIS / plan management processes
- Familiarity with PRODA, Xero, or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with Australian clients
- Knowledge of NDIS pricing guides and service categories
- Understanding of compliance and tax regulations related to NDIS
