This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Flexible 9 hours) between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Dulwich Time, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
Total Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

Our client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper or Accountant with a strong background in NDIS Plan Management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of NDIS guidelines, the ability to process invoices, manage participant budgets, and ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Process invoices and claims through the NDIS PRODA / myplace portal
  • Track and manage NDIS participant funding and budget allocations
  • Liaise with service providers and participants for invoice follow-ups
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries for participants and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS plan management rules and audit requirements
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Requirements
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Hands-on experience with NDIS / plan management processes
  • Familiarity with PRODA, Xero, or similar accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience working with Australian clients
  • Knowledge of NDIS pricing guides and service categories
  • Understanding of compliance and tax regulations related to NDIS
