Role: Director Of Marketing & Creative

As the Director of Marketing & Creative, you will lead the end-to-end marketing strategy, creative vision, and messaging that drives brand growth and audience engagement. You’ll oversee short-form, long-form, blogs, newsletters, and creative teams to ensure every piece of content—from ads to YouTube videos to funnels—is strategic, on-brand, and results-driven.

This role blends big-picture strategy, creative leadership, copywriting, analytics, and content ideation. You’ll work closely with Mike to brainstorm content ideas, plan campaigns, and lead creative direction while collaborating with the Director of Advertising & Tech, Social Media Manager, and Project Manager to scale a high-performing marketing machine.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ideation for both short-form and long-form content, ensuring all creative aligns with brand goals.
  • Develop and execute marketing and content strategy across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Ads, Website, Blogs, Newsletters, and Funnels.
  • Perform quality checks on all creative output (funnels, ads, blogs, graphics, videos) before publishing.
  • Manage and mentor the content and creative teams (editors, designers, copywriters, social media manager).
  • Partner with the Director of Advertising, Social Media Manager, and Project Manager to execute campaigns and launches efficiently.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize campaign launches, collaborations, podcasts, and guest features to grow reach.
  • Build scalable systems, workflows, and creative standards for a high-output content engine.
  • Recruit and develop top-tier creative talent to strengthen future scalability.
  • Provide mentorship and feedback to ensure a consistent brand voice and exceptional quality.
  • Manage newsletter campaigns end-to-end: strategy, copywriting, design, and execution.
  • Oversee blog content strategy, including writing, editing, publishing, and AI-driven blog creation.
  • Use AI to research, draft, and optimize blogs and newsletters for engagement, SEO, and conversions.
  • Analyze performance data and translate analytics into actionable improvements for all campaigns.
  • Collaborate directly with Mike to generate content ideas, hooks, and creative concepts.
  • Oversee creative direction for videos, graphics, funnels, campaigns, and websites.
  • Give strategic direction to thumbnail designers for copy, visuals, and positioning for every video.
  • Own brand copywriting for emails, ads, blogs, newsletters, landing pages, and sales assets.

Day-To-Day Execution

  • Plan and manage newsletter campaigns (strategy, content, design, and automation).
  • Write and approve copy for newsletters, blogs, campaigns, and marketing materials.
  • Review and approve videos, ads, funnels, and creative assets before publishing.
  • Brainstorm hooks, titles, thumbnails, and campaign angles with Mike.
  • Use AI-powered workflows to draft and optimize content (blogs, emails, and newsletters).
  • Maintain and oversee the content calendar for all platforms and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with editors, designers, and the Social Media Manager to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure campaigns and content are delivered on schedule.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Advertising to align creative assets and newsletters with ad strategies.
Perform systematic quality checks across all deliverables to uphold excellence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in marketing, content strategy, or creative direction.
  • Proven success scaling content-driven brands with newsletters, blogs, and campaigns.
  • Expertise in email/newsletter strategy, copywriting, and automation.
  • Strong background in copywriting, storytelling, and SEO-driven blog content.
  • Skilled in multi-channel content strategy (short-form, long-form, blogs, emails, funnels).
  • Experience leading teams of editors, designers, copywriters, and marketing talent.
  • Familiar with AI-powered tools for writing, design, and automation.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance culture.

  • Publish SEO-optimized blogs consistently to grow organic reach and traffic.
