About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
We’re looking for a Channel Reporting & Insight Analyst to help us transform raw data into meaningful insights that help us to build a deeper understanding of how our customer interact with us. We need you to bring your problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and ability to connect data from multiple sources, as well as your expertise with leveraging analytical and data visualisation tools.
This role combines technical expertise in data analysis and reporting with a strong understanding of business and customer needs, enabling the delivery of high-quality insights, dashboards, and performance metrics.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Design, build and maintain intuitive reporting tools, dashboards, and scorecards that provide clear visibility into channel performance, channel shift/adoption and customer behaviours.
- Identify channel use including trends and customer behaviour through data analysis, delivering actionable insights that support continuous improvement in service experiences.
- Extract, manipulate, and analyse large structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources.
- Translate complex data into compelling stories and visualisations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver fit-for-purpose analytical solutions.
- Support the development and automation of repeatable reporting processes.

About you | Mōu
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or relevant experience (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Business, Information Systems).
- Strong understanding of channels and customer experience
- Ability to learn and understand the business (processes, systems, objectives and structures) to inform analysis and insights
- Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Experience working with large datasets and data extraction tools (e.g., SQL, SAS).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Knowledge of data warehousing and database management concepts.
- Exposure to digital and visual analytics tools.
- Familiarity with performance measurement and evaluation methodologies.
- Sound understanding and demonstrated leadership of the application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

The salary range for this role is $85,037 - $120,052 with appointment dependent on skills, experience and internal relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation.
