The Cloud Solution Architecture role involves gathering customer insights, mapping architecture, and proposing digital transformation solutions based on Microsoft technologies. The role requires coaching team members to focus on customer experience through efficient delivery, driving adherence to Microsoft standards and recommended practices, and providing a holistic perspective of customer challenges and competitor architectures. The role is within the Cloud and AI Platform CSA team which is dedicated to enhancing the customer's experience with Microsoft’s Cloud and AI services as they transition to cloud solutions. We achieve this by offering our customers value through adaptable and efficient delivery methods, all underpinned by standardized processes.

We are hiring a senior-level Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) focused on Application Innovation to lead customer engagements across Azure App Services, Containers, DevOps, and AI-powered applications. This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives on solving complex challenges and driving digital transformation at scale.

Responsibilities

Role Expectations:

• Operates independently on complex customer engagements.
• Applies technical knowledge to resolve customer challenges and drive solution adoption.
• Contributes to design, build, and deployment of PoCs and pilots for AI applications.
• Acts as a trusted advisor, demonstrating Microsoft’s differentiated value proposition

Customer Centricity

• Engage customers to understand business needs and technical requirements for AI application scenarios.
• Architect and deliver solutions using Azure AI services and application innovation workloads.
• Lead technical discussions, workshops, and proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements to demonstrate the value of Microsoft AI technologies.
• Build trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders and act as a customer advocate for Microsoft.

Technical Leadership

• Architect and deliver solutions using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Apps, App Services, and GitHub Copilot.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, robust AI application architectures using Azure-native services.
• Guide customers through DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and secure software development.
• Contribute to internal communities and mentor junior CSAs.

Business Impact

• Drive adoption of Azure AI App Innovation workloads, supporting milestone delivery and usage acceleration.
• Influence partner and engineering teams to scale impact and remove blockers.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in application architecture, cloud-native development, or consulting.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI services, Azure App Services, and DevOps practices.

Preferred

• Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102), Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204).
• Experience with AI application frameworks (Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Foundry).
• Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
