Senior Backend Engineer (Ruby)

Missions 🛠

• Development and maintenance of Ruby on Rails applications and services.
• Design and implementation of backend components supporting large-scale digital platforms. 
• Deployment and management of services in cloud environments (Heroku, AWS, GCP, or Azure). 
• Optimization of database operations using PostgreSQL. 
• Contributions to AI and event-driven architecture integrations (where relevant).
• API development and scaling 
• Microservices architecture and optimization 
• PostgreSQL database management and performance tuning 
• Cloud deployment (Heroku, AWS, GCP, or Azure) 
• Containerized deployments (Docker) 
• System monitoring, debugging, and high-availability design

Your Profile 👀

• Proven hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails in production environments. 
• Expertise in building scalable web APIs and working with microservices architectures. 
• Strong proficiency in SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL. 
• Solid understanding of modern backend design patterns, with emphasis on scalability, performance, and maintainability. 
• Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments (Heroku, AWS, GCP, or Azure) and with containerized deployments (Docker). 
• Strong problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and capacity to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Practical experience with Elasticsearch.
• Exposure to additional languages such as Go (Golang) or Python. 
• Familiarity with AI frameworks and experience integrating with AI services or agent-based systems.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
