Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of discipline-specific scopes within complex, multidisciplinary projects or general projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that the assigned scope of works is executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, cost control, and schedule performance. This role emphasizes technical leadership, stakeholder coordination, and compliance, while supporting the broader project objectives and collaborating closely with other disciplines and project leads.

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of work scopes, ensuring alignment with design intent, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the definition and achievement of discipline-specific success criteria, including time, cost, technical performance, and quality.
  • Develop and manage detailed plans for scope works, including master programmes, manpower, materials, and equipment schedules.
  • Oversee the implementation of delivery strategies for work components, ensuring consistency with project-wide systems and processes.
  • Manage change control and risk mitigation strategies related to assigned scopes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration and execution.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for clients and consultants on major discipline-specific matters, ensuring satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
  • Facilitate effective communication and documentation through meetings, reports, and written correspondence.
  • Ensure governance and compliance with internal standards and statutory regulations relevant to scope works.
  • Identify and escalate discipline-specific quality, safety, health, and environmental issues as needed.
  • Monitor and advise on discipline-related financials, including budgeting, cost tracking, and invoicing support.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, master schedules, and performance metrics for assigned scopes.
  • Capture and share key learnings from project delivery through internal knowledge management systems.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service offerings or expand work with existing clients and report to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing discipline-specific scopes within large-scale or multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and compliance requirements.
  • Effective leadership and stakeholder management skills within a collaborative project environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, BIM) and financial tracking systems.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE, Chartered Engineer) are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Korean.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and maintain effective working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
