Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree such as Aviation, Math, Science and/or Business or other related field from a recognized college or university. May substitute one year of directly related experience for one year of education.
  • At least 3 years of progressively increasing experience in Quality Assurance or related fields including:
  • Experience scheduling, performing and documenting internal system and process based audits
  • Experience in an FAA or EASA Part 145 and/or Part 21 regulated environment including knowledge of aircraft related processes
  • The application of quality assurance principles, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis / A3 Problem Solving
  • Quality systems including ISO9001, AS9100
  • Experience and ability to compile data and perform analysis for the purpose of reporting
  • Ability to manage projects including setting of agendas, meeting management, tracking and reporting of progress toward established goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate ability to express concepts clearly and concisely in verbal and written communications.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and move about the factory floor, other offices, and onboard aircraft with or without reasonable accommodation.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Quality Auditor Certification
  • FAA Certification – Airframe and other
  • Functional French language skill
  • Some skill in digital photography

Non-Principal Duties/Responsibilities (Non-Essential Functions):

  •  Encourage innovation which increases quality and customer satisfaction while decreasing cost through example, work environment, and motivation.
  • Interfaces across departments to suggest and implement process improvements that result in reduced operational expenses and increased value to internal and external customers.
  • Provides management-level training in quality assurance methodologies.
  • Special Projects as requested by Management
  • Other duties as assigned.
