Job Description
Operations Technical Specialist – Vaccines Intern

What you will do:
Bring energy, knowledge, innovation, and leadership to carry out the following:
- Support department and site level activities that require process and operational knowledge.
- Support process operations including trouble shooting technical and process related issues.
- Identifying, raising and completion of Safety and Quality incidents.
- Support cross-functional problem-solving teams for troubleshooting and investigations within Vaccines IPT and across the site as required.
- Support and lead material management and troubleshooting with a cost focus.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
- Represent the department on cross-functional project teams.
- Drive continuous improvement, perform root cause analysis on system failures e.g. FMEA, Fishbone diagrams, 5 why's etc,
- Adherence to highest standards for Compliance (Safety, Quality and Cost).
The ideal person will have:
- Working towards a Science or Engineering qualification or relevant discipline
- Demonstrated knowledge pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical operations (e.g. manufacturing, technology, engineering, quality, analytical)
- Demonstrated delivery of a section of a process / technical project
- Problem solving skills.
- Working and collaboration across multiple functional teams.

- Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well both within a team and independently.
