Gaming Accountant I

The Gaming Accountant I will assist with month-end closeout procedures and prepare reconciliations for management. This individual will work closely with other Revenue Accounting personnel, assisting in their training and preparing consolidated reports for functional management. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously without direct supervision.

• Prepare and distribute consolidated operational reports to functional management.
• Assist in training Revenue Accounting personnel on proper documentation submission.
• Conduct timely month-end closeout procedures.
• Prepare reconciliations for Revenue Accounting Management.
• Manage multiple projects and job-related duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An MBA or professional certification is a plus.
• Experience with Business Line Systems and Accounting Applications is preferred.
• Must possess knowledge of accounting theory, GAAP, and GAAS.
• Proficiency in basic office equipment and computer programs, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
