The role will oversee technology adoption, efficiency improvements, KPI management, and strategic expansion—including assisting in the due diligence and integration of M&A opportunities to fill capability gaps.

In addition, this role will oversee the Operations Excellence Team, which includes the following areas: Business Intelligence, Solutions Engineering, Pricing, Lean/Continuous Improvement, Safety, Inventory Management, Quality, and ISO Certifications.

The Sr. Vice President of Contract Logistics will also be accountable for building out capabilities that support global verticals (e.g., Automotive, Healthcare, Retail, Technology) where applicable.

This position will report to the CEO & MD Americas Region and play a pivotal role in defining and executing the multi-year strategy for Contract Logistics.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Strategic Leadership

  • Define, communicate, and execute the multi-year strategy for Contract Logistics aligned with overall business objectives
  • Build organizational capabilities to deliver superior customer service, operational excellence, and cost competitiveness
  • Identify and close white space gaps in service offerings through capability development, partnerships, or M&A
  • Develop and scale capabilities that support global industry verticals, ensuring relevance and alignment to sector-specific customer needs

Operational Excellence

  • Lead the Operations Excellence Team, overseeing Business Intelligence, Solutions Engineering, Pricing, Lean/Continuous Improvement, Safety, Inventory Management, Quality, and ISO Certifications
  • Ensure systems, processes, and infrastructure meet the needs of customers and support seamless end-to-end execution
  • Drive continuous improvement in operational performance, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Champion the use of new technologies, automation, and digital tools to reduce costs and enhance efficiency
  • Establish, monitor, and manage KPIs and objectives for operational, financial, and customer performance
  • Leverage Business Intelligence tools to track performance and drive data-informed decision making
  • Ensure quality standards and customer KPIs are consistently achieved across the region
  • Guarantee that solutions and pricing models are best-in-class, competitive, and aligned with customer expectations

Growth & Innovation

  • Lead efforts to evaluate and integrate new technologies into logistics operations
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and develop innovative solutions to strengthen customer value propositions
  • Assist in the due diligence of potential M&A opportunities and support post-acquisition integration to expand the company’s Contract Logistics footprint

People & Culture

  • Build and develop a high-performing team with the right skills to support growth and transformation
  • Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and innovation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, IT, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment and execution of strategy

 


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven experience leading contract logistics, warehousing, or distribution at scale
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing multi-year strategies
  • Strong knowledge of logistics technologies, automation, and digital transformation
  • Expertise in KPI management and Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.) for operational visibility and decision-making
  • Proven ability to design and implement competitive solutions and pricing strategies
  • Experience in M&A due diligence and integration is strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement, safety, inventory management, and quality/ISO standards
  • Experience building or scaling solutions to support global industry verticals preferred
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on ability to execute and deliver results
