Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero. 

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Titu, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

• What we’re looking for
• Key Skills and Knowledge Areas 
• Understanding of ISO 26262 and related functional safety standards
• Proficiency in safety analysis methods (e.g., FMEA, FTA, DFA)
• Strong project management and coordination skills
• Familiarity with automotive systems, hardware, and software development
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• What will you do

Their primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the entire safety lifecycle, ensuring that all processes, activities, and outputs meet the required safety goals.

Leadership and Coordination of Functional Safety Activities

Development and Maintenance of Safety Plans

Hazard and Risk Assessment (HARA) Oversight

Safety Concept Development

Compliance with ISO 26262

Safety Requirement Management

Verification And Validation

Safety Case Development

Supplier Safety Management

Risk Management

Training And Awareness

Documentation And Reporting

Interface with External Parties
