Azure Core Product Marketing is searching for a Product Marketing Director to join our team. We are a passionate and entrepreneurial group of product marketers and play a critical role in driving the growth of the Azure business. Your mission will be to help customers migrate and their mission-critical SAP line of business applications to Azure and unlock business transformation through integration with other Microsoft Cloud services, such as analytics and AI.
This is an end-to-end product marketing role that requires strategic thinking, cross-group collaboration and a passion for great storytelling. Together with stakeholders across Azure marketing, engineering, sales, and partner teams, you will build a high-impact strategy to market and grow the business. Using deep understanding of customer needs, market and user trends, and the competitive landscape, you will work with engineering to influence product strategy and translate the product offerings into clear and differentiated messaging that can be used to create high impact content for customers, field and partners. You will work closely with sales and partner teams to ensure a strong Go to market (GTM) strategy, including programs, offers and campaigns.

Responsibilities
- Build a world-class marketing plan with strategies to grow the SAP business on the Microsoft Cloud.
- Lead the end-to-end strategy for winning vs. key vendors, analyzing all elements including marketing, Go to Market (GTM), sales, partner and product teams.
- Develop key business insights and metrics related to strategy, communicating effectively in executive leadership forums.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, market and user trends, and competitive landscape.
- Partner with product teams to infuse your insights from customer, market and sales trends to ensure a long-term vision and strategy for a broad set of products and/or solutions that give us a competitive edge.
- Be a world-class storyteller and develop a strong value proposition, use cases and scenarios that demonstrate Microsoft thought leadership and technological edge – and create compelling content where these shine through.
- Deliver our story directly, and via senior spokespeople to engage customers and influentials.
- Lead and coach others to compile and evaluate market intelligence to identify opportunities and define strategies for customer acquisition, adoption, and renewal of a product and/or solution.
- Work with sales and partners teams to develop a powerful end-to-end GTM strategy, including programs, offers, and campaigns for field and partners.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 4+ years experience in business
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years experience identifying and driving growth opportunities with senior level partners across product and sales teams.
Additional/Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years marketing or sales experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 12+ years experience in business
- OR equivalent experience.
Product Marketing IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
