Senior Coordinator, Provider Licensing

What you’ll get to do every day

Licensing

• Oversee provider licensing applications, ensuring compliance with state medical board and federal regulations
• Process license renewals for a medical group with 100–200 clinicians
• Liaise with state medical boards, credentialing agencies, and the clinical team to resolve application delays or documentation errors
• Independently manage complex licensing cases, including those with regulatory challenges
• Proactively maintain and update the provider licensing database for accuracy and timeliness

General

• Serve as the internal go-to expert for licensing inquiries
• Support ad-hoc practice and insurance operations tasks as needed
• Identify and drive process improvements to streamline workflows and boost efficiency

What you’ll bring to the role

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in healthcare credentialing, licensing, or a related field
• Familiarity with credentialing platforms (e.g., CAQH, CredentialStream) or EHR systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience coordinating with providers to gather documentation or resolve application issues
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in managing complex workflows
• Proactive problem-solving skills to tackle unexpected licensing or credentialing challenges
