General Description:
Closing Leads ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently at Quick-Box, with a concentration on closing of the facility.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Planning and organizing production schedules
- Assessing project and resource requirements
- Estimating, negotiating, and providing input on budgets and timescales with clients and other Quick-Box managers
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met for the production area.
- Determining and regulating quality control standards
- Overseeing production processes
- Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
- Selecting, ordering, and purchasing materials as needed
- Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
- Collaborating with client services to meet the needs of the clients.
- Supervising the work of production leads, production warehouse associates, QC Coordinator, QC Leads and QC technicians.
- Organizing relevant training sessions for all staff based on areas of improvement.
Requirements
Job Qualifications Mandatory:
Must have previous experience of high volume Administrative/ Management in a production environment.
- Must be able to manage 30 or more people in multiple areas and levels of functions.
- To complete all necessary communications with other business units.
- To be able to clearly communicate and articulate with all business units in a professional manner
- Perform essential daily administrative tasks.
- Leadership Skills: Senior Closing Lead will need to Lead by example. They will also need to direct staff when it is time to go home or stay late as needed.
- Critical-Thinking Skills: Senior Closing Lead will need to create plans of action and access those plans regularly.
- Organizational Skills: Senior Closing Lead will need to be able to Multitask, keep people and many moving pieces organized and working productively.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Senior Closing Lead will need to be ready when problems arise or be ready to anticipate problems before they happen.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Management or training in team leading is a plus.
Work Environment:
- This is a Denver based position operating out of a Warehouse environment
- Warehouse Environmental Conditions are as follows.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
- The work environment is indoors.
- Warehouse temperatures may vary depending on outside temperatures.
Physical Demands:
- Sight: Must be able to see well enough to read product lot numbers and expiration dates, read reports, and use a computer.
- Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate in person or via technology, and to hear warning signals of forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Standing: Must be able to stand for shift duration.
- Walking: Must be able to walk without assistance to perform job duties.
- Mobility: Must be able to be mobile to operate warehouse machinery.
- Sitting: Must be able to sit for shift duration.
- Stooping, Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel for short periods of time.
- Lifting: Must be able to lift 30 lbs. – 50 lbs.
- Hand Mobility: Must be able to have mobility in hands to open and seal packaging, utilize keyboard functions, and utilize phone systems.
