Salary/Position Classification

• 944.45 monthly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 8-10 hours per week
• Remote Work: No
• This position will work in person on the UND campus

Purpose Of Position

• This Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) position helps with grading and tracking of student assignments, monitors attendance and assists instructor, including occasional teaching.
• This position will assist faculty with large undergraduate courses. The spring assignment will likely be either SWK 255 (Introduction to Social Work) or SWK 257 (HBSE I).
• This is a 25% time commitment, and GTAs are expected to work 8-10 hours per week. This is an on campus position. No remote work is available.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be fully admitted to the School of Graduate Studies at UND
• Must be enrolled or working towards a Masters of Social Work degree
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
