What You’ll Do
Position Summary
As the Manager, Identity and Access Management (IAM) at Suvida Healthcare, you will lead and participate in the strategic and operational execution of IAM initiatives across our network of primary care centers in Texas and Arizona. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance team oversight with direct technical contributions, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient access to systems and data across clinical and administrative environments.
Responsibilities
You will serve as a bridge between clinical operations, compliance, HR, and IT, aligning IAM practices with Suvida’s mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and contribute to IAM operations, including provisioning, deprovisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and periodic access reviews across clinical and administrative systems.
- Collaborate with HR, Compliance, Security, and Clinical Operations to ensure IAM policies align with organizational controls and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
- Develop and maintain IAM governance frameworks, including documentation, workflows, and audit trails to support internal and external compliance.
- Manage cross-functional initiatives involving clinical stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to support secure access to EHRs, scheduling systems, and other healthcare applications.
- Analyze and optimize IAM workflows, identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency, and risk reduction.
- Support change management and training efforts, ensuring staff across all care centers understand and follow IAM protocols
- Translate business needs into technical IAM solutions, ensuring alignment with Suvida’s strategic goals and operational realities.
- Participate in and lead projects involving new system implementations, integrations, and upgrades with a focus on access control and identity lifecycle management.
- Conduct training and provide ongoing support to clinical and administrative staff on IAM tools and best practices.
- Monitor and report on IAM metrics, including access request turnaround times, audit findings, and compliance status.
- Champion a culture of security and accountability, promoting IAM awareness and continuous improvement across the organization.

What You’ll Bring
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven ability to lead and contribute to Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations in a healthcare environment, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Demonstrated experience managing or implementing clinical information systems and applications, with a strong understanding of healthcare workflows and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
- Hands-on experience with IAM tools and technologies, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and IT service management platform
- Strong analytical and communication skills to translate clinical and operational needs into secure, scalable IAM solutions.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including HR, Compliance, Security, and Clinical Operations to align access policies with organizational goals.
- Ability to manage and participate in projects, understand clinical workflows, and identify key success factors for IAM initiatives.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design to support training and change management efforts.
- Commitment to customer service and continuous improvement, with a focus on secure, efficient access to systems that support patient care.
Education, Experience, Licensure, or Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience in healthcare IT, with a focus on access management, cybersecurity, or clinical systems.
