Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Regional Manager to lead our Northern California operations for a $180M Construction and Mining Sales and Service organization. This role is ideal for a strategic, results-oriented leader who thrives on driving growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
As Regional Manager, you will oversee sales, service, parts, operations, and administration, while setting the standard for safety, quality, and performance. You’ll work closely with leadership to shape strategy, deliver financial results, and strengthen relationships with customers across the region. Key Job Responsibilities

Lead Regional Operations: Direct and oversee all functions including sales, service, financial performance, operations, facilities, HR, and safety.

Drive Financial Results: Manage a $180M P&L, ensuring profitability, growth in market share, and effective cost control.

Champion Safety & Compliance: Promote a Zero Harm culture across all operations, ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.

Enhance Customer Satisfaction: Establish KPIs, monitor service performance, and partner with teams to deliver dependable support, resolve issues, and improve total cost of ownership for customers.

Strategic Growth: Develop and execute strategies to expand market share in original equipment, parts, and service.

Community & Industry Engagement: Represent Komatsu within the community and industry, fostering relationships and promoting company values.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales, service, and parts managers, ensuring development, accountability, and alignment with business goals.
Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred; engineering degree (mechanical or electrical) preferred; a combination of education and experience may be considered

Background in equipment distribution strongly preferred

2–5 years’ experience with related products, mineral processing, maintenance, and operations

Field service and project management experience

10+ years in manufacturing or service management

Strong leadership, organizational, and financial management skills with proven success in managing P&L performance

Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and internet-based sales support tools

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and influence at all levels

Willingness to travel (approx. 10%) to meet with customers, suppliers, and regional stakeholders
Additional Information
Hiring Range
At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $165,000 - 210,000. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
