You will manage the data strategy to determine what data needs to be developed within DME, what data to import into DME, and what data is to remain at the original source and referenced by DME. Responsibilities in this role include working with customers to develop data requirements, develop data solutions, gain access to customer tools and services leveraging data in its original source to support the analysis, reporting, and visualizations of information that provide insights into the performance of our programs and the overall value being delivered by DME to our clients. You will lead the team’s pursuit of Predictive Analytics to proactively assist Operations with understanding how data can be used to foresee activities and achieve operational improvements. You will lead the BI Team to develop end-to-end reporting solutions that will assist the business obtain actionable insights. In close partnership with Operation’s team, you will be ensuring DME is delivering and achieve our clients’ goals.
You will lead the BI team to support the successful implementation of new client engagements. You will leverage your ability to develop relationships, and your knowledge and experience with service delivery, project management, and financial management skills to ensure robust BI solution design and seamless implementation of programs, completing team assignments and objectives on time and within budget.
You will work with cross-functional leaders on complex projects, collaborating vertically and horizontally throughout internal and external organizations, understanding workflow, and creating a cooperative environment to work effectively throughout the organization to ensure alignment of strategy and approach.
Functional Description:
Provide Business Intelligence, Data Management, and Reporting services, oversight and strategy to internal and external stakeholders to support DMEs delivery capabilities. Responsible for team members to ensure DME is delivering against our client’s goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, and Business Intelligence Analyst employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Is responsible for the overall employee direction, management, coordination, evaluation, and prioritization of tasks and resources of this area. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Delivery Management:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to design and implement BI delivery models.
- Lead the development and execution of data and reporting roadmaps for key business areas.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of BI tools, dashboards, reports, and data platforms.
- Ensure alignment with corporate vision and deliver insights that drive operational efficiency, effectiveness, and client satisfaction.
Data Analysis & Insights:
- Analyze complex business problems using internal and external data to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Identify and interpret trends and patterns in large datasets to influence managerial decisions and strategic initiatives, and help leaders to manage through empirical data.
- Perform advanced statistical analyses and forecasting to guide the business and improve predictive capabilities.
- Oversee the development and presentation of performance insights through reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, training, workforce management, and Sales & Marketing, to ensure successful program delivery.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external clients, ensuring alignment on service delivery and performance metrics.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders via Monthly Operational Meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Annual Strategic Business Reviews.
Operational Execution & Quality Management:
- Oversee decisions as to where data should be housed; in the clients tools/services or exported to DME.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of scheduled and ad-hoc reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- Implement and support the ability to monitor key operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and driving process excellence in cooperation with each functional and operational team.
- Manage project plans, track milestones, and ensure the successful delivery of initiatives on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain data integrity, quality, and compliance.
Team Management & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Business Intelligence team, ensuring operational efficiency and effective performance.
- Establish clear objectives, evaluate performance, and drive a culture of transparency and accountability.
- Facilitate the professional growth of team members by providing training and development opportunities.

Experience And Education
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related analytical disciplines (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 10 years of industry experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex projects from conception to execution.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau (preferred) or Power BI.
- Understanding of data science, predictive analytics, Generative AI, industry trends, and BI best practices.
- Expertise in working with SQL-based relational databases and cloud-based data platforms, with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake.
- Knowledge of Data Lakes and Data Warehouse concepts, differences, and their application in business.
- Demonstrated ability to present complex data and analysis clearly to executive audiences.
- Experience managing operational KPIs, SLAs, and other performance metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a BPO or vendor-client relationship environment.
- Proven ability to operate with cloud-based data architecture and platforms.
- Expertise in system integrations and big data analytics capabilities.
- Life sciences, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry experience.
- Startup or rapid growth environment experience.
