The FP&A Manager will report to the Director, FP&A, and will support the end-to-end financial planning and analysis and partner with senior leaders to provide guidance to management and provide value-added insights into the business. The manager will also drive a comprehensive process for developing financial plans and corresponding forecasts for all business objectives. We are requiring someone to work onsite at our plant located in Duluth, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare an in-depth, comprehensive financial reporting package (full financial statements, comprehensive KPIs, operational dashboards, analysis of business trends, budget variances) with executive-level insights explaining key differences.
  • Deliver best-in-class financial modeling and budgeting.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to align business objectives with financial targets.
  • Work effectively with field leaders to develop and implement key business initiatives.
  • Partner with leadership to foster a data-driven decision-making culture by providing access to financial insights, KPIs, and analytical support.
  • Provide support in delivering timely reports with clear KPIs to highlight business strengths and potential risks.
  • Compile relevant data sets and analyze trends, variances, and current performance metrics to develop accurate forecasts.
  • Ensure significant variances from forecasts are identified, analyzed, and addressed with appropriate corrective actions to meet financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with IT to develop systematic, repeatable solutions for tracking progress against key initiatives.
  • Work with leadership to evaluate ROI for capital expenditures and strategic investments.
  • Support leadership in managing and evaluating the strategic planning process for the annual budget, ensuring timely delivery of results to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Expertise in Excel with the ability to build advanced financial models efficiently.
  • Strong skills in creating presentation materials to effectively communicate financial plans and results to senior leaders, with exceptional executive communication abilities.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably in manufacturing and/or financial services. Experience in leading and managing direct reports.
  • Strong proficiency in handling large data sets and performing complex analyses.
  • Ability to communicate financial outcomes and business impacts effectively with leadership and department heads.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage across different functions, levels, and cultures.
  • Exceptional consulting and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and proactively address challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
