More About The Role
■ Overall accountable for building, designing and implementing Marketing strategy (who we are/where to play), in alignment with overall company strategy, specific business strategy and financial targets.
■ Responsible for brand positioning, deploying brand portfolio, brand architecture and naming architecture. Enable brand excellence and govern brand activities across business, markets and functions.
■ Focus on establishing successful Customer experience, based on measurable customer and business insights.
■ Manage data-driven teams who build and deploy marketing operations to enable the market to generate local growth via different tools and channels.
■ Responsible for designing and executing effective marketing programs and campaigns including content creation.
■ Be responsible for researching, forecasting and analyzing market data to make strategic decisions that have long-term impact on the business. The role manages and executes the budget for market research at market level.
■ Leads effective and transparent input of consistent market and competitive information. Manages quantitative data (ex. Market share) and qualitative data (ex. brand preference and consumer behaviors). Ensure frequent and efficient reporting and communication.
■ Builds understanding of market, competition, and customer behavior trends and translates this into up-to-date insights for the market.
■ Defines and builds required capabilities to drive in-depth knowledge of marketing and product research techniques.
■ Builds active networks with key contacts in and outside Lighting industry to keep abreast of new developments and insights.
■ Be responsible for the development of short-term and long-term strategies to support Greater China Business expansion.
■ Define clear and feasible roadmap to support the realization of company strategies.
■ Lead dedicated strategic projects by providing specialized capabilities around strategic decision-making, strategy formulation, analytical rigor, problem solving and stakeholder management.
■ Provide expert advice and recommendation to Greater China leadership team on macro trend.
■ Be responsible for getting an outside-in perspective that helps in refining and building a more market-aligned strategy.
More About You
■ 15+ years’ total experience, incl. 5 years in top-tier strategy consulting or equivalent corporate marketing or strategy role in the Lighting industry.
■ High level of experience and understanding of Marketing and Digital marketing in areas of enablement, embedding and execution
■ Analytical rigor and problem-solving capabilities to independently solve complex problems during strategic projects.
■ Mature presence and stakeholder management to ensure buy-in for strategic recommendations.
■ Project management capabilities to drive multiple initiatives within work stream
■ Strong analytical skills, data driven especially in areas of measuring marketing effectiveness and gaining customer insights
Advanced presentation and Public Speaking skills. Strong storytelling and board-level communication skills.
