We are looking for a professional who is passionate about building engagement, communicates well and quickly gets up to speed in a new environment. The mission of the Project Management Officer (PMO) will be to help drive operational excellence for Asia covering Korea, Taiwan, China, Japan, and Singapore by prioritizing and providing support to drive a large transformation ERP integration project from SAP ECC to SAP S4HANA with an aggressive timeline. The role is positioned in the Capability Center, part of ASML Business Services (ABS), a global business services organization delivering world-class enabling services to our internal customers in ASML. The Capability Center improves the rest of the ABS organization by executing projects to standardize, improve and automate processes and by bringing innovation. To realize our ambition, we aim to implement a portfolio of solutions together with business and IT. The successful candidate will work on projects and improvements in the ABS portfolio, assisting the project manager, with a focus on change in Asia.

Job Description

PMO with experience working in a project team focusing on end-to-end process improvements/optimizations. This position will be part of the Capability Center Asia team within ASML Business Services. He/she will collaborate closely with the teams in Asia, Veldhoven, and the US and will collaborate frequently with project managers and change and communications managers to successfully deliver projects. The PMO will be an individual contributor acting within a specific area within a program or project, with guidance from a project manager, focusing on medium to low-complex scope.

Skills And Competencies

  • Assist in developing project plans and drafting implementation processes, including progress tracking, monitoring, change control, assessing risks, testing, and documentation.

  • Driving execution of process and tooling improvement projects.
  • Identifying, designing, and implementing global E2E processes / process improvements to achieve defined process metric levels.

  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies including awareness of the ASML project management methodology (PMM)

Responsibilities

  • Support project managers in maintaining project documentation, schedules, and status reports.
  • Assist in tracking project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Help prepare dashboards and reports for PMO leadership and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Driving execution of the process and tooling improvement projects and lead and/or participate in change projects.
  • Flexible work hours due to project meetings across multiple time zones including US, Asia, and Europe.
  • Comfortable working with little to no supervision.
  • Work according to a strict set of procedures within the provided timelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferable in the field of Finance or IT and a 5 ~8 years of relevant experience working with projects and process optimizations.
  • Understanding of end-to-end business processes (e.g., Market to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Hire to Retire ...). Strong understanding of ASML business processes is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP (ECC, S4HANA, BPC) is preferred.
  • Experience in applying lean methodology with a focus on process improvements.
  • Experience working in/with project team(s).
  • Ability to influence team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate information to effectively communicate with all levels of the business.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite programs.
  • Fluent English speaking and writing.
