This role will provide global support for FNZ's Global Finance Transformation. With an organisation of c.150 people, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to reshaping how our finance function operates.

As a Finance Transformation Support Specialist, you will play a key role in the delivery of our multi-year transformation program. This position offers hands-on experience in finance organisational management, organisational design, and process transformation, while working across functional teams to enhance our operating model. You will help identify opportunities to improve how we work, support the development of our transformation roadmap, and contribute to the delivery of change over the next three years.

The role spans both the CFO Office business management and Organisational Design Transformation. Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development and execution of the transformation plan and roadmap.
  • Leading with governance activities, including preparation for the Transformation Steering Committee.
  • Coordinating and tracking progress across workstreams to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Helping drive improvements in ways of working, structures, and processes.

This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to gain first-hand experience in finance transformation and organisational change.

Responsibilities

  • Support an effective operating rhythm for the CFO office and the global finance function incl. colleague comms and engagement agenda, senior leadership operating model incl. offsite planning / mgmt. workshops.
  • Lead Global Finance cost management including FTE forecasting, planning and reporting. Ensure connectivity between finance and HR function (supported by an analyst)
  • Key specialist support to the Global finance management team in developing our Target Operating Model and supporting the execution.
  • Proactive role in managing the delivery of expected transformation outcomes through senior level partnering with the mgmt. team and cross functional collaboration across finance.
  • Project management of the global finance transformation program across people / processes / systems / data and controls driving accountability for delivery at a senior level.
  • Own the colleague and comms strategy for finance transformation to ensure effective top-down comms / address issues identified in colleague feedback and surveys
  • Lead the Transformation office PMO governance including monthly steerco reporting, RAIDS, actions and minutes
  • Supports strategic projects as an when the arise.
  • Support a range of CFO priorities and projects as and when they arise

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant /finance professional with +2 years experience / understanding of how a finance function operates
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of finance processes / frameworks and transformation practices
  • Supported or part of a prior finance transformation with a focus on organisational design.
  • Passion for improving employee engagement via comms
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive expected transformation outcomes
  • Confident communicator with strong organisational mgmt. skills / project management
  • Expert proficiency in excel data handling / insights and powerpoint production for Exco level outputs
  • Show proven ability to build strong relationships across organizational boundaries and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders
  • Be highly resilient and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change rapidly
  • Possess excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Have experience with financial systems and advanced Excel skills, with the ability to leverage technology to enhance financial analysis

  • MBA qualification is a plus but not essential
