Samsung is seeking a dynamic, disciplined, resilient and results-oriented Channel Sales Manager to manage our relationship with CDW, one of Samsung’s most critical channel partners in the US enterprise market. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in channel sales and partner management, a strong understanding of the CDW ecosystem, and a proven ability to drive exponential growth.
Role And Responsibilities
- Account Management: Serve as primary account management contact for the CDW partnership.
- Sales management: Grow revenue of our B2B display portfolio including digital signage, direct view LED, desktop monitors, Hotel TV, and display software and solutions.
- Revenue Growth: Own and exceed revenue and profitability targets for the CDW account through effective sales planning, pipeline management, and forecast accuracy.
- Partner Development: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at CDW including sales, leadership, product management, support teams, marketing, and other departments .
- Joint Business Planning: Support the development and execution of annual business plans with CDW that align with Samsung’s sales priorities, product launches, and marketing strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Samsung product teams, marketing, operations, supply chain, and finance to support CDW with the tools, training, and programs needed to succeed.
- Program Execution: Drive execution of joint marketing campaigns, sales incentives, and enablement programs to increase Samsung share of wallet at CDW.
- Field Engagement: Oversee alignment between Samsung and CDW field sales teams across regions to drive co-selling initiatives and end-user engagement.
- Negotiate and manage partner agreements, pricing, and incentives to maximize mutual profitability and success.
- Lead/support joint business planning sessions, QBRs, and other strategic meetings to drive mutual growth and success.
- Analyze sell-through performance, identify gaps or opportunities, monitor market trends, competitor activities, and use data-driven insights to align strategy and execution.
Skills And Qualifications
- Channel Experience with a focus on Display Products (Professional, Hospitality, Desktop, Direct View LED) and Display Software Solutions (Display Content Management, Remote Management Solutions).
- Experienced in sales operations, sell-through analytics, and executive level partner engagement
- Experience using with CRM software (SalesForce.com preferred).
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and extensive experience in development and delivery of presentation materials.
- Ability to interact at all levels within Samsung and the CDW organization.
- The ability to negotiate in a potentially adversarial environment, including customer, partner, leadership and vendors with opposing views to accept/approve programs and proposals.
- The ability to independently plan, organize and prioritize multiple sales, project and performance objectives
- The ability to develop sales and business plans with clearly define metrics to be achieved.
- Ability to work in a team environment, working against individual and shared objectives.
- The ability to accept tasks and work to resolve problems, when only broad and general guidelines exist
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of sales enablement investments.
- Pipeline Management and project management working jointly with Tier 3 (End-user sales)/Vertical Teams, Product Management, Marketing, Support Teams as well as Service.
Education And Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 7-9 years of B2B sales experience preferably channel sales.
Physical/Travel Requirements:
- Presence at CDW Offices 60% of the time (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or as needed) – Primary Location is Chicago, IL.
- Ability to work independently and travel within assigned geographic territory (up to 50% of the time).
- Conduct site visits and support events/shows at other CDW offices locally/nationally as needed

REMOTE (Must reside in Chicago)
The salary range for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, and actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role. However, the salary ranges in the following regions are expected to be as follows:
- Illinois: $114,500.00 to $141,500.00
