Collaborating with cross functional partners such as engineering, quality, production planning and plant engineering, to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the organization
Leading and continually developing self and others at multiple levels of the organization through supervision, providing recognition, policy administration, continuous coaching for improvement and participation in hiring processes
Representing the plant leadership team through driving initiatives across the site, including but not limited to supervision coverage for alternative shifts, being on-call and serving as a primary plant management representative

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher from (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
Five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing others and ability to influence higher levels of the organization.
Understanding and experience leading Shingo principles and/or principle-based leadership
Experience navigating multiple levels of tier management process; leading and coaching improvement projects (kaizens) and LSS Projects
Five (5) years previous technical and/or supervisory experience
Prior experience with Environmental Compliance, High-Hazard Analysis, Process Safety Analysis/Management, and Risk Assessment

Work location:

Knoxville, IA Plant

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $141,150 - $172,517, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
