Job Summary:
Cormano QRC - Precision assembler
In this role you will be in charge of the disassembly, cleaning, inspecting and reassembly during any repair process, testing and the preparation of assembly work and documentation. In this position will assemble a variety of equipment and perform incoming quality check on replacement parts. You will also support the Team on shipments preparation & coordination if necessary.
Your Role:
- Complete assemblies according to drawings, instructions, and work orders, performing testing when required.
- Demonstrate an advanced understanding of inspection equipment, their functions and uses to ensure that all parts and assemblies are within specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within assembly and warranty case.
- Ensure all parts and components are clean prior to assembly and that assemblies are completed properly, following all assembly procedures.
- Have a sharp eye for detail and a results-oriented approach.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and technical drawings safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic computer aptitude to use/learn data entry systems and to use Microsoft Office Package.
- Perform quality checks on incoming items.
- Initiating and coordinating vendor corrective action for non-conforming material receipts.
- Preparing, coordinating, and participating in physical inventory counts.
- Capable of calculating basic mathematical functions including computation of rate, ratio, and percent and converting one type of measurement into another.
- Participate in CIP activities as needed and comply with all Flowserve policies and procedures.
- Show a customer-service mindset for on-time delivery and quality workmanship.
- Demonstrate behavior that promotes team building and continuous improvement.
- Follow all safety procedures, and wear required personal safety equipment.
- And any other duties assigned
- Perform final check before to release the pump/parts for delivery.
- - Operate various precision measuring tools.
Your Profile:
Workshop Experience.
- Knowledge of industrial pump and main components.
- Experience as a mechanic for rotating machines, mechanical devices.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills required with the ability to work well with all levels of employees and internal departments in a diverse environment.
- Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience.
- Ability to write routine reports and communicate clearly with peers, supervisors and customers
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as required on short notice.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time able to safely lift materials
