Core Responsibilities

  • Lead technical projects within the Operational Technology area
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets that align with organizational goals and resource availability, engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide regular updates and ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with the R&D organizations & manufacturing sites to align project goals and strategies.
  • Manage multi-functional project teams to successfully retrofit existing manufacturing platforms in line with Industry 4.0 technologies & principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to proactively address potential project challenges.
  • Manage change control and ensure that all significant changes to time, cost, quality and scope are realigned and agreed to by the SteerCo.
  • Ensure all project documentation is in place and updated according to the LEGO & OT Project Models

You will be part of the Operational Technology Project organization where we are responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of technology projects across LEGO Manufacturing.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead projects related to retrofitting our existing equipment on the shop floor. This role requires a unique blend of project management expertise and technical knowledge in Industry 4.0, Operational Technology (OT), and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).

Do You Have What It Takes?

  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong project-leading skills within global (non-hierarchical) teams, worked in a highly matrix environment, working with large multi-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with operational technology systems (SCADA, PLCs, IoT devices etc.) and understanding of the specific technologies used in manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in continuous improvement, driving Operational Excellence & Productivity dialogues and actions within an international organization.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Agile/Scrum certifications are an advantage.
