JOB SUMMARY: As part of the Product Center of Excellence the Senior Product Operations Manager is responsible for supporting our transformation into a product-led organization by driving operational excellence across the product organization. This role will establish and scale the standards, processes, tools, and insights that empower Product Managers and Product Owners to deliver high-impact outcomes efficiently and consistently.
Job Roles And Responsibilities:
- 1. Process Definition & Optimizations: Work with the product organization to define and implement new product management workflows, frameworks, standards and best practices. Lead initiatives to improve product planning, prioritization, and execution.
- 2. Tooling: Own the evaluation, implementation, and administration of new product tools, ensuring smooth integrations and optimal utilization of tools.
- 3. Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Growth, Marketing, etc.) to streamline product development workflows and improve execution.
- 4. Data & Analytics: Establish metrics and dashboards to track product performance and operational efficiency. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making within the CoE and the Product organization.
- 5. Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain a centralized repository of best practices, templates and documentation for product.
- 6. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department.
- 7. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
- 8. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

Job Scope:
The Senior Product Operations Manager drives operational excellence across the product organization, reporting to the VP of Product Management and managing a team within the Product Center of Excellence. The role holds significant decision-making authority in defining product workflows, selecting and administering tools, and establishing performance metrics that support strategic planning and execution.
Operating with a high level of independence, the incumbent leads cross-functional initiatives and partners with teams across Engineering, Design, Growth, and Marketing to improve product delivery and alignment. The role influences budget decisions related to tooling and may manage vendor relationships.
Direct supervision of team members is required, along with indirect influence across the broader product organization to ensure consistent adoption of standards and best practices. Strong analytical, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills are essential to support a product-led transformation and deliver scalable improvements. This is a people management job with authority for all HR actions (hiring, firing, discipline, training, etc.)
QualificationsJOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree or 10 years direct experience.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in product management, product ownership, product operations, or related roles
- Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable
- Proven experience implementing scalable processes and tools in a product-led organization.
- Strong understanding product lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with being a Super User or administrator of tools like Jira, Jira Align, Jira Product Discovery, Aha!, and Confluence, or similar.
- Ability to translate strategic goals into operational plans and measurable outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
- Individual in this position must be able to work in a standard office environment which requires sitting and viewing monitor(s) for extended periods of time, operating standard office equipment such as, but not limited to, a keyboard, copier and telephone
