We are on the lookout for Banquet Servers who are passionate about delivering exceptional service at our functions. This role is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to enhance their income through our steady flow of events both beachside and in the brand-new Islamorada Ballroom, the largest event space in the upper Keys. We also host events at our Morada Bay restaurants (Beach Cafe and Pierre's).

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve food and beverages at banquet functions within our state-of-the-art Islamorada Ballroom and other event spaces, maintaining Cheeca Lodge & Spa's high standards.
• Engage guests and team members with a friendly and service-oriented approach.
• Perform preparatory tasks and side work duties for efficient and prompt service.
• Understand Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and menus to provide knowledgeable service.
• Address and resolve guest issues, escalating to management as needed.
• Set tables and maintain presentation standards of the hotel.
• Organize and maintain the banquet storeroom, ensuring readiness for events.
• Efficiently conduct post-function clean-up and equipment storage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in related field required
• Tips and Food Handlers certificates required
• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
• Ability to stand during entire shift
