Summary

The Director of Value‐Based Care Reporting supports healthcare data initiatives by leading the team to develop and maintaining timely, accurate and insightful operational reports to help drive cost savings and quality improvement activities.  This position will work effectively with the VBC management team and across all key internal and external stakeholders and thrive in an ambiguous fast paced environment.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Requirements Include:

·         Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, information technology, public health or related quantitative field required.

• Eight (8) plus years of advanced analytics experience working with claim data, electronic medical record data and other clinical data sources.
• Experienced in leading and mentoring reporting or analytics team, architecting and overseeing the development of comprehensive reporting suites that support organizational decision making at multiple levels, managing project timeline and roadmap, setting technical direction and delivering enterprise-level reporting solutions
• Advanced SQL skills required, with deep understanding of large relational databases and data architecture is required.
• Proficient in report tool Power BI or similar platforms to design develop and deploy production level dashboards.
• Hands-on experience working with enterprise data warehouse, including understanding of ETL process, dimensional modeling and best practices for performance optimization.
• Advanced data analyst skills required with a higher level of proficiency with Excel and analytical abstraction, analysis, and visualization tools.
• Use of the following tools preferred: Snowflake DB query environment, Python.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
