Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Reactive Sales Agent (Reservationist) to manage guest reservations and inquiries with precision and warmth. This role is pivotal in converting inquiries into bookings while maintaining the highest standards of luxury service and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Convert leads into confirmed bookings by understanding guest needs and offering tailored solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel reservation systems.
• Upsell rooms, packages, and amenities to maximize revenue while enhancing guest experience.
• Collaborate with front office, revenue, and sales teams to ensure seamless booking processes.
• Handle group bookings, corporate accounts, and special requests with attention to detail.
• Provide expert knowledge of room types, rates, promotions, and hotel services.
• Ensure all guest interactions reflect the brand’s luxury standards and personalized service ethos.
• Monitor availability and adjust bookings in line with revenue management strategies.
• Resolve booking issues and guest concerns with professionalism and empathy.

Requirements:

• Matric certificate; diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or Sales preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in reservations or sales within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in reservation systems (e.g., Opera, or similar).
• Sales-driven mindset with a passion for guest service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CRM systems and online booking platforms.
• Multilingual abilities.
• Familiarity with luxury hospitality standards and guest expectations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
