Senior Manager, Category Management provides functional application support, development, configuration, and new process realization within our Enterprise Application portfolio, specifically owning Space Management from Blue Yonder. This position will collect business requirements and analysis through meetings with users, peers, external partners, and company management to determine the best solutions to meet the needs of the business. Further, this position will create reports, queries, business cases and presentations at the appropriate level of detail to provide decision/business support.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive work experience in management and supervision over a team. This role must be able to operate independently with regular interaction with others and guidance from leadership. The candidate will oversee others and collaborate with a cross-functional team with a focus on accountability and driving results. Previous People Management, Project Management, Process Improvement Project and Product Management are preferred.
- Develops roadmaps that take a strategic view of the work and ensure that portfolio roadmaps align with enterprise business and technology objectives.
- Leads and coaches’ team to work effectively to deliver projects or services in a strong customer-service and team-oriented environment
- Maintain the Blue Yonder (BY) CKB suite and associated modules.
- Perform minor upgrades and updates to the Blue Yonder CKB suite and associated modules as required.
- Troubleshoot issues and identify root causes promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams (Citrix / Desktop Visualization / Database Administration) to resolve technical challenges and optimize system performance.
- Work with business teams to solve any issues that originate from the BY infrastructure or deployed architecture & environments
- Provide Blue Yonder specific SME & technical guidance to internal Acosta partners and teams
- Stay updated on Blue Yonder technology & potential value or impact to the existing implemented Blue Yonder environment
- Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.
- Handle & facilitate any ticketing or internal technical communications

Minimum Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field
- Ten (10) or more years of experience in in management and supervision over a team
